Kristina Hadjieva Groetsch first arrived the United States in 1998. She comes from a family of jewelers and after finishing a five-year creative art and metalworking academy in Sofia, Bulgaria’s capitol, she earned a scholarship to the Philadelphia Art Institute. Achieving Certified Jeweler status allowed her to instruct in jewelry design and art. Traveling the globe for several years matured her artistic vision. During her journeys, Kristina participated in numerous jewelry design and mixed media art exhibitions. Upon her return to the States, she started a family with husband and business partner, Jared. Two daughters and a son complete their family in Pennsburg, PA, home of their company Black Sea Jewelers.
Stan Deyo graduated from the USAF Academy Prep School and received a congressional appointment to attend the USAF Academy with the Class of 1967 in the 22nd Squadron. In 1968 he left the Air Force to enter the private sector in Dallas, Texas where he was trained at IBM in mainframe programming languages, computer operations and systems analysis.
